Abstract

The wireless sensor networks(WSN) can be used in agriculture to increase the crop yields and improve the quality of the agriculture output. The proposed systems use low-cost wireless technologies such as LoRA, Zigbee and NRF24L01. The proposed system is based on technologies with economical resource requirements and consumes lower energy. The Wireless Sensor devices require energy to run wirelessly and to communicate with other nodes within the network. The energy monitoring of wireless devices plays a crucial role in wireless communication. Three wireless communication technologies are used in the present work, and the energy usage during the communication and ideal period are analyzed by using optimal and efficient algorithms, and it is found that the error rate is 7% lesser, and also it is concluded that LoRa wireless technology can increase the life time of the network and network can sustain comparatively for longer period of time.
